Erika Jane Amerika
Erika Jane Amerika
Instinctively, satire, American pop culture, American subculture, Texas, and underground communities play a large role in my work. I want to document the lives and stories of American icons that some of us look to, are inspired by, are entertained by, and influenced by, those people that maybe are our far away allies that bring comfort to our lives in the good times and the bad. I also paint the lives of those I see around me. My work has been described as outsider art meets pop surrealism, lowbrow Americana, twisted Americana, somewhere in between cartoon and reality. Labels. In other words, I paint what I call the pulse of American culture.

Tiny Framed Things
Tiny Framed Things
Tiny Framed Things are the tiniest and “framiest” of all the things. Adorable framed mini prints of items including favorites like a possum or a range of butts. The items are a half inch big and the frame is only 2.5″x3.5″ – big fun in a tiny package.
