We are looking for motivated and friendly seasonal staff for our 2023 event!
The Bazaar will run from Friday, November 17 through Thursday, December 24, 10 am – 10 pm, 7 days a week (10 am – 6 pm on Christmas Eve).
Management may assign or reassign the following duties as needed.
Cashier: Responsible for accurately ringing up merchandise, wrapping or bagging sold items, and excellent customer service. Must be detail-oriented and comfortable with basic math. Physical demands include remaining in a stationary position, bending and lifting, communicating with others, and interpreting written information. ($15/hr)
Floor Associate: Responsible for excellent customer service and loss prevention. Duties include greeting and assisting customers, monitoring the shop floor, and ensuring that the public areas & restrooms are well-stocked and neat. Must be self-motivated and proactive. Physical demands include remaining in a stationary position, traversing the shop area, ascending/descending stairs and ladders, bending and lifting, communicating with others, and interpreting written information. ($15/hr)
Bartender: Responsible for serving customers and ringing up purchases at our in-store bar. Duties include welcoming customers and taking orders, adhering to TABC guidelines for serving alcoholic beverages, tracking bar inventory, maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Must be comfortable with basic math and handling cash. Physical demands include remaining in a stationary position, communicating with others, interpreting written information, lifting up to 25 lbs. Must present proof of current TABC license to serve alcohol. Must be available nights and weekends. ($12/hr + tips)
Supervisors
Shift Manager: Acts as Manager-on-duty during a given shift to make sure all customer, staff, exhibitor, and operational needs are met. Ensures that staff stay on task, get their breaks, leave on time, and meet dress code. Ensures that public areas, including restrooms, are well-stocked and neat. Reconciles registers and prints reports at the end of each shift. Responsible for answering typical customer questions and complaints and forwards any emergencies immediately to the show director. Physical demands include remaining in a stationary position, traversing the shop area, bending and lifting, communicating with others, and interpreting written information. ($18/hr)
